Antenna is powerful enough there is no need to install at a window. Product works great and easy to set up. Enjoy.
Was a little tricky to get the signal facing north in a window but after moving it around the window to a few places it now works great. Bought this for my new ONYX XM radio and it works great. Radioshack sold me the SUPH1 Universal Dock and Play Home Kit and it does not work even though the package said it would work for XM and Sirius radios, so I had to return it and buy this one.
There were no surprises with the purchase. The home kit enabled me to enjoy my new Xm Radio gift well before I was able to use it in the car. The price was competitive, adding to the value. Very satisfied with my purchase and the prompt shipment. My order arrived even sooner than the delivery date specified. The product was exactly as described and new in the original retail packaging.
With this kix it possible to have music of many choices. We live in a area where choice of music you can't get. Of course you have to purchase the music, but it's well worth it.Audiovox Car XMH10A Xpress Home Kit It's a must have. I don't go any where with out my Xpress Audiovox car kit and my XM music. I would recommend this for any music love.
It gives you the same strength as the one for the car, and has to be located outside pointing to sky. Don't expect any signal increase with this antenna. It won't work indoors.
